Activity ThreeZenji’s courage in Hunt for the Bamboo Rat is driven by the trust that Colonel Blake has in him. Zenji is sometimes in conflict with his Japanese culture. What creates this conflict? Describe moments when he is proud of his heritage. Discuss how Zenji brings honor to his family name. You can do this by drawing a picture and putting words to it, or you can just write about it, the choice is yours.
